On February 10, Mirae Asset Global Investments (Hong Kong) Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Mirae Asset") announced the launch of the Global X AI Infrastructure ETF (03401), which will be listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange starting today. This ETF focuses on companies involved in the development of artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, tracking the Mirae Asset AI Infrastructure V2 Index, providing investors with a unique opportunity to capture the growth potential of this industry. With the launch of this ETF, Mirae Asset now has a total of 36 ETFs listed in Hong Kong, including 6 AI-themed ETFs. The products cover thematic growth, income, core, and commodity ETF categories. The rapid development of AI is driving the industry into a new era, and the necessary infrastructure to support AI development is increasingly important. Major areas include data centers and related energy systems, which are the foundation for supporting AI innovation. According to ABI Research, by the end of 2025, the number of public data centers worldwide will exceed 6,000, and by 2030, it will exceed 8,000. In addition, the US government recently announced a $500 billion "Stargate" program aimed at accelerating AI infrastructure development in the United States.
