The Hong Kong Investment Fund Association appoints Yu Zhen Sheng as chairman.
The Hong Kong Investment Funds Association appointed members of the Executive Committee for the term 2024-2025 at its annual meeting held on Tuesday, September 10th.
At the annual meeting of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association held on Tuesday, September 10, the members of the Executive Committee for the term 2024 to 2025 were appointed. Among them, Mr. Yu Zhencheng, Managing Director of Barling Asset Management (Asia) and Head of Compliance for the Asia Pacific region (excluding Japan), was appointed as the Chairman of the Fund Association. Mr. Yu Zhencheng is currently the Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association and Co-Chairman of its Regulatory Subcommittee, with a term of office from 2023 to 2024. With over 20 years of industry experience, he joined Barling in 2015 after serving as Director of the AML/KYC Office for Asia at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in Hong Kong. Mr. Yu is a Certified Public Accountant in the United States and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. He is based in Hong Kong.
